Dear Da,
I wrote tech support a while ago. What I wrote was a parody of a bug report, but it did in fact express that I had a problem. My problem is this, I use a different browser than the ones you advertise. Because I use Opera, which is a fantastic browser that I loyally stand by, you put a banner over my messages obscuring them from view until I close this banner. This banner appears every time I load a page on your website. The banner tells me to "upgrade" my browser to a browser of your choice, which is a clear downgrade from the browser I'm currently using. When I sent in my parody of a bug report, I was given a very curt "we will not fix this annoying advertisement that we're inconveniencing you with".
Well, Da. You have lost. And it's important to me that you know that you have been beaten.
If anyone that follows me is having this problem, here is the solution.
First, you start with AdBlockPlus. I freaking swear by this program. So Da can take its god awful ad campaigns and shove them right up its ass with its banner. Once you have ABP, you go into preferences. From there go to the "Add Your Own Filters" tab. Add this filter:

The Baron Benjamin Bunnicker

This morning, at 2:30 AM central, the Baron Brnjamin Bunnicker was given into the earth from whence he came.
The Baron was a bunny of exceptional spirit. I remember when we got him (my ex and I) how he would, even as a baby bunny, chase the cats around. This was a bunny that would stomp his big back feet in frustration at the 60 pound American Bulldog as it cleaned his head. The wonderful companion to the deceased Nicodemus the rat who would climb all over him.
I regret that he lived his soft furred but strong willed life in the custody of such an unworthy owner.
The burial service was attended by his big brother, Pig.

Two things.
First: I just finished reading the Völuspá. Magnificent! Go read it.
Second: I'm probably late to this party, but I just got AdBlocker for Chrome. It's free (though I did contribute some money to the livelihood of these magnificent people after a test-run). Best extension EVER. No more YouTube ads. This is a huge deal. But do you know what else I get to avoid? DA ADS! FUCK YOU DA, FUCK, YOU! I didn't have a problem with Da ads until they started allowing sound ads in. And then they made them all speak at me in Mexican. Do I /look/ like I speak Mexican? They also have those horrible ads that take up your entire fucking screen when you first hit the site. They're gone too. And finally... I stream movies online. I go through PrimeWire.ag. Between hitting the main site and actually reaching the movie, you activate an unavoidable five or six popups. I hate it. They're now gone too.
AdBlocker people, I love you. I love you so good.
